The Solution
People need to learn that the time to save and to invest money is when you have money, not when you run out of it.
People need to learn that it’s not about how much money you make, but about how much money you keep, how hard it works for you, and for how many generations you keep it.
People need to learn that the foundation of money is ownership, not employment.
People need to learn that the foundation of time is not ownership, but scalability of the asset that you create outside of your job.
People need to learn that making a living if fundamentally different from creating a life.
People need to learn that jobs and careers do not buy your time back – they keep you in the shackles of scarcity of both money and time.
People need to learn that the lessons they need to learn cannot be gleaned from people who have the same results as them – only from people who have the results they yearn for.
People need to learn that hunger for better results is insufficient if it is not paired with the humility to recognize that what they have learnt from their broke friends will not propel them to riches – instead they will join their friends in the pit of financial despair and destitution.
People need to learn that leading a better life requires them to become a leader of themselves: Time is Life, and Money is Choice !
Mark Twain: “It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so.”
And so, most people practice the proverbial insanity when they keep changing jobs, changing positions, or changing employers: selling your time for money, no matter in what job, position, or company, will always get you the same kind of results.
Once the realization kicks in that today’s schooling is based on creating good employees instead of self-determined and self-responsible individuals that take charge of their own lives and destinys, preciously few people will seek for the proper education elsewhere – sadly, the vast majority will experience cognitive dissonance and return to the job-oriented fixed mindedness that will keep them in shackles for the rest of their lives.
