The Time for Value
At the end of their lives people most commonly wished they had lived in alignment with their values and hadn't worked that hard.
Neither work nor leisure have inherent value unless they serve your purpose.
Do you know your Life's Purpose ? Do you know your "Why" ?
Or did your career choice end up choosing your purpose for you ?
Did you choose your path or your destination ? Most people don’t choose either and end up living their lives accidentally rather than intentionally.
They resemble someone who gets into his car with the intent to "see where the road takes me", without defining the destination.
Every day we use our Smartphone's GPS system to help us get to our destination. Regrettably, we do not have a GPS for Life, and we end up at a destination we would have never chosen for ourselves had we been aware that we do have a choice - and a job or a career is not it !
Ask yourself three questions:
